My co-worker was excoriated by his boss for poor performance.  It only made him more sneaky in looking for ways to blame others.

The Dowager Countess would rather be caught dead in anything other than a soigne ensemble, complete with perfect hair and accessories.

Tom from Downton Abbey used to drive the Crowley’s jehu, but he moved on up by marrying the bosses daughter.

loquacious

liking to talk and talking smoothly and easily

 

The salesman’s loquacious approach could easily draw most people in, but not me.  This isn’t my first rodeo.
