Word of the Day: Diapason

Since receiving a Word A Day Calendar, I’ve decided to write a short something including my new word each day.

diapason

noun di·a·pa·son ˌdī-ə-ˈpā-zən, -sən

  2. 2 atuning fork b :  a standard of pitch

 

The diapsons of cheers after the Red Sox homerun was deafening.
