For a total of 499 pages… a nice number.
I changed my whole strategy after logging in to Scribd and seeing this:

I thought I knew why, but still a fascinating read that is more a contextual history of the 80’s generation and how Prince fit into it.
1. What are you reading right now?
I’m about to pick up Nine Stories by JD Salinger
2. How many books have you read so far?
One
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
Getting back into The Merry Recluse, essays by Caroline Knapp
4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
I had some errands, during which I listened to an audio book. I went to they gym, something I have committed to myself to do. That was just a non-reading time as I need to take classes else I won’t work as hard.
5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
What a fun community of readers are out there. I’m not sure why that surprises me. Of course book people are fun and cool!
One 323 page book. I may be the slowest reader in the read-a-thon, but that’s ok! Mostly I need to take breaks…

After I’m Gone by Laura Lippman
Also I did listen to part of The Death of Ivan Ilych in the car when I had to run a couple of errands.
Let’s go!

I am super excited about this read-a-thon ( so excited that I wrote super excited, as a 5th grader would). I have what feels like a million goals:
24 hours isn’t enough!
